The application of sciences is nothing but the strengthening of the core disciplines of science so as to equip an individual with the right tools to quench the thirst of scientific curiosity leading to fruitful results for humanity. Not only scholars and scientists though, the best of professors have sometimes been the contribution of application of sciences.

Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) recognises the need for such in-depth understanding of sciences and its possible fruitful results, and thus has an independent School of Applied Sciences which consists of independent departments of the three basic disciplines of science, namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
