WORKSHOP ON FACT CHECKING CHUNAV SHALA

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has organised a workshop on 19th April 2024 in Babu Banarasi Das University named as Chunav Shala. The workshop was conducted by NewsMobile in association with Poynter, IFCN (Internation Fact-Checking Network) designed to raise awareness about election-related misinformation and disinformation. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Abheet Raghav, Senior Editor of News Mobile. The main aim of the workshop was to spread awareness about election-related misinformation. The objective was to empower students with the tools to identify, analyze, and counter false or misleading information, ensuring a more informed electorate.
