The School of Media and Communication embarked on its transformative journey in 2014 with a vision to cultivate next-generation media professionals equipped with intellectual depth, digital fluency, and industry-ready technical expertise. Aligned with the dynamic media landscape, the school follows a cutting-edge curriculum tailored to emerging industry trends, integrating AI-driven journalism, immersive storytelling, and data-driven media analytics. With state-of-the-art facilities, including an advanced Photography Studio and a fully functional News Production Studio, the school fosters experiential learning, enabling students to develop hands-on proficiency in multimedia content creation, digital broadcasting, and cross-platform media strategies. Emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach, the curriculum spans Digital Multimedia, Cinema and Television Studies, Emerging Media Technologies, Communication Theories, and Cultural Studies, preparing students for the evolving media ecosystem.
Our pedagogy, rooted in critical media literacy and innovative problem-solving, empowers students to navigate the fast-paced digital media sphere with analytical acumen. Under the mentorship of distinguished faculty, students gain a deep understanding of media ethics, policy frameworks, and global communication practices, positioning them as thought leaders and changemakers. We emphasize fostering media entrepreneurs with a strong foundation in journalism and mass communication, aligning with the Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative and the entrepreneurial spirit envisioned in NEP 2020. The curriculum is strategically designed to enhance employability across diverse sectors, including Digital Journalism, Public Policy, OTT Content Production, AI-integrated Media, and Social Impact Communication. A robust internship program embedded in the courses ensures real-world exposure, industry collaborations, and skill diversification, in sync with the Government of India's skilling and outreach programs. Rooted in India's cultural ethos and global perspectives, our school nurtures socially responsible media professionals who uphold democratic values, human rights, and ethical storytelling. With a forward-looking vision towards Vikshit Bharat 2047, we strive to create a generation of media leaders who can influence narratives, drive societal change, and contribute meaningfully to the knowledge economy. Our mission is to inspire students to "inform, innovate, and impact," not only shaping the media landscape but also serving the nation and the world through responsible communication.

To bridge the gap between Planning, Design, Creation, and Innovations by nurturing the young generation with education to change the face of our world's tomorrow—and that too for the best.
To provide equal opportunity to the young generation for evolving their core competencies to build their careers as world-class business professionals with broad-based foundations, in-depth knowledge, and versatile personalities to meet the challenges of the global economy.
